Hi there!! Tonight I have a super sweet image from Mo Manning for Penny Black. This was such a fun, fun image to color.  Also, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank my wonderfully talented buddy, Karen of Karen’s Fun Blog for the cute, little charm on my card! Karen sent me a bunch of little goodies the other day, along with packet of charms! Sweet, huh? Thank you so much Karen!!

Rough Day?

P1040379
Hey there! Just a quick card today! Kraftin Kimmie's hilarious, quirky stamps seriously tickle my funny bone, so I wanted to take the time this weekend to join in on their fun sketch challenge. They had a new release blog hop this weekend…and oh man! This might just be my favorite release!

Also, I wanted to take the opportunity to give Sharon of Grandma’s House of Cards a big, huge shout out and an even bigger thank you!!  Sharon, not only is a round the clock and never ending source of amazing inspiration, but that girl constantly makes me giggle. She also has the rare gift and ability to make everyone she comes in contact with…feel special. If you’ve never been to Sharon’s blog, do your self a huge favor, stop by and prepare your self for some incredibly yummy eye candy!  Thank you again for every thing Sharon. You truly are a doll!

Tilda with Peony Tails and a bit of a tutorial

Today, I thought I would share with you a card made with the darling Tilda with Peony Tails stamp from Magnolia, available for purchase over at the iCopic store, of course.
Supplies used:
Additional supplies:
Matting was done with my Cameo
DS Papers ~ My Mind’s Eye ~ Happy Go Lucky
Sentiment ~ Papertrey Ink
Next, it's Tuesday Tips and Tricks over at the iCopic Lovers Blog, so I thought I would share with you a few of the different methods that I use for coloring my seam binding. In the past, I would buy my seam binding already colored, but now, I just buy a large roll of white seam binding it and color as I go and now...I always have matching ribbon.
For my first method, I simply sprayed a bit of Glimmer mist along with either a spritz of water or Perfect Pearls onto a non-stick craft mat.
Smoosh (technical word) the seam binding around into this mixture, bunch up and either set aside to dry or carefully use a heat gun to dry...if you're impatient, like me. :)
The second method using Distress inks smooshed onto a non-stick craft mat and another spritz of Perfect Pearls or water.
After spritzing with Perfect Pearls
Crumple and set aside to dry.
The third method involves our beloved Copic Markers. Just scribble a couple of times on a non-stick craft mat, spritz with either a bit of colorless blender solution or a bit of alcohol.
and ...viola!
Below are the 3 different methods. Glimmer Mist, Distress Inks and Copic.
Have fun looking around your supplies to see what you have that will work too. I encourage to give it a try!
Thank you so very much for visiting today! Smile
